Transparency is not a slogan. This page publishes Jerry's campaign finance reports, donor disclosures, and other public records — because voters deserve straight answers before they cast a ballot.
The Transparency Pledge
When I criticize the current commissioners for lacking transparency, I hold myself to the same standard. This page is proof of that (click here). You will find my campaign finance filings, a list of donors, and any other public records related to my campaign — updated as they are filed.
Voters deserve to know who funds a campaign. They deserve to see whether a candidate's donors align with the special interests they claim to oppose. I am not funded by large corporations, wind energy companies, or outside development groups. My campaign is funded by neighbors, working families, and local business owners who want honest representation.
If something is missing from this page that you believe should be here, ask me directly. I will answer.
All campaign finance reports are filed with the Idaho Secretary of State per state law. I have also linked directly to the official state database so you can verify the filings independently — not just take my word for it. (Jerry Holton Filings)
All required campaign finance reports filed on time and published here immediately after submission.
Full donor list with names, amounts, and occupations as required by Idaho campaign finance law.
Direct links to Idaho SOS filings so you can verify independently — not just see what I choose to show.
Expenditure records showing how campaign funds are spent — no vague line items.
I accept no donations from Lava Ridge developers, large energy corporations, or county-backed economic development groups with conflicts of interest.
Any voter can call or email and ask me directly about a contribution or expense. I will answer.

Public Records
Beyond campaign finance, this section documents public records related to the county government issues Jerry has raised — so voters can read the evidence themselves, not just take anyone's word for it.
Public records related to the commissioners' attempted ban on firearms in county offices — including meeting minutes, legal opinions, and the public record of how the decision was made and reversed.
📄 Upload DocumentsCorrespondence between Jerome County officials and Lava Ridge Wind developers, FERC, and state agencies — obtained via public records request.
📄 Upload DocumentsSelected commission meeting minutes documenting decisions made with limited public notice or input — the pattern Jerry has documented over recent years.
📄 Upload DocumentsDocuments showing the relationships between commissioners, county-backed economic development groups, and private interests — and how these relationships have influenced county decisions.
📄 Upload DocumentsCopies of public records requests submitted by Jerry to Jerome County and the responses received — including any delays, denials, or incomplete responses.
📄 Upload DocumentsIdaho's Public Records Act gives every citizen the right to request government documents. Jerome County is required by law to respond. You can submit a public records request to Jerome County by contacting the County Clerk's office. If you have been denied or delayed, let Jerry know — he wants to document patterns of stonewalling.
"Transparency is not a slogan. It means public records that are accessible without delay or runaround — and explanations in plain language so people understand what is being proposed and why."— Jerry Holton
